Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Develops real-time embedded software applications using the Ada programming language throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. Supports activities ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing while integrating software and hardware components. Works within a multidisciplinary engineering environment to develop, test, and maintain embedded software solutions.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of real-time embedded software development experience using the Ada programming language
• 3+ years of integration and test experience involving software and hardware
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with VxWorks operating systems
• Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
