- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 16 years of related experience, or Master's degree
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in a similar Integration and Test Engineering role
- 4 - 6 years of experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing
- 4 - 6 years of experience with software design and development
- 4 - 6 years of experience with testing and development
- 4 - 6 years of experience with electronic testing
- 2 - 4 years of experience with integration
- 4 - 6 years of experience with requirements development
- 4 - 6 years of experience with software testing and fault insertion experience
- 4 - 6 years of experience with systems analysis and design skills
- Demonstrated project and technical leadership experience
- Proven hardware and software integration skills
- Working knowledge of standard electronics laboratory equipment
- Ability to lead development of test programs written in PAWS ATLAS or NI TestStand and LabWindows CVI
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- 2 - 4 years of experience with test equipment design
- Experience supporting RF, analog, digital, Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optics, and communications technologies
- Experience collaborating with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering organizations
- Experience leading Test Program Set (TPS) development activities
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if converted to a full-time employee
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develop test programs for LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS systems
- Lead Test Program Set (TPS) developers through project execution activities
- Coordinate engineering efforts required to produce customer-specific work products
- Design software and hardware solutions supporting customer missions
- Plan subsystem and system integration activities
- Implement test procedures for complete systems and subsystems
- Establish functional and technical specifications and standards
- Evaluate requirements to ensure testability and compliance
- Generate test programs and supporting documentation
- Conduct subsystem and system-level testing activities
- Analyze performance data and test results
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports verifying and validating system performance
- Investigate hardware and software interface issues
- Document discrepancies and corrective actions
- Execute regression testing to verify incorporated fixes
- Verify input and output parameters across integrated systems
- Support customer contractual requirements while acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work onsite full time in an engineering and laboratory environment
- Operate computers, electronic test equipment, and related tools
- Perform prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer-based activities
- Support testing operations involving electrical and electronic equipment
