Database Engineer

Job Description

Develop and maintain enterprise relational database systems supporting aerospace logistics and integrated product support operations for the Next Generation Interceptor program. Execute database architecture and data management activities within SLICwave Life Cycle systems to ensure accurate logistics product data representation and compliance with reporting requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware and software inputs into lifecycle support and supply chain data structures.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 4 - 6 years of experience preparing statistical reports
• 4 - 6 years of experience with relational database design and management of relational databases
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• 4 - 6 years of experience in Logistics
• 4 - 6 years of experience as a Critical Thinker
• 4 - 6 years of experience as a Team Player

• Job Duties & Functions
• Develop and maintain SLICwave Life Cycle relational database systems supporting Integrated Product Support and logistics management activities
• Partner with Logistics Product Data teams to develop Logistics Support Analyses, Logistics Product Data, and Logistics Operational Risk Analyses deliverables
• Create and maintain cataloging and provisioning data using technical data packages and engineering drawings
• Generate and manage GEIA-STD-007 compliance reports and provisioning Bills of Materials
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to review system architecture inputs
• Ensure SLICwave data accurately reflects supply chain requirements, line-replaceable units, and field spare requirements
• Support Operations and Sustainment activities through accurate lifecycle data management
