Job Description
Inspect circuit card assemblies to verify compliance with manufacturing and industry standards using visual inspection methods, measuring equipment, and established acceptance criteria. Review drawings, process instructions, and quality documentation to identify defects and ensure product conformity. Support manufacturing quality objectives through accurate inspections, effective communication, and adherence to IPC requirements.

- Education & Job Requirements
- 2 - 4 years of experience with Visual Inspection
- 2 - 4 years of experience with IPC-A-610
- 2 - 4 years of experience with IPC-J-STD
- 2 - 4 years of experience with Measuring
- 2 - 4 years of experience with the ability to read engineering drawings
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Documentation Skills
- 1 - 2 years of experience as a Team Player
- 2+ years of experience visually inspecting solder connections of both surface mount and plated through-hole components in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD requirements
- Demonstrated ability to navigate IPC standards and determine accept/reject criteria
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision-controlled documents, reference materials, and work instructions
- Proficient with personal computers
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Job Duties & Functions
- Inspect solder connections and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements
- Review process instructions, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists to verify product compliance
- Utilize measuring devices, including dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, and similar inspection tools
- Verify circuit card assemblies meet manufacturing specifications, industry standards, and applicable reference documents
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation during inspection activities
- Identify quality defects and communicate findings effectively to operations personnel
- Support quality assurance activities through accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintain compliance with established inspection procedures and acceptance criteria
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Worker will work onsite full-time
- Must be able to pass required vision and medical testing
- Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
- Weekend overtime may be required
