Job Description
Design and implement manufacturing processes, production layouts, and tooling solutions supporting circuit card assemblies and module assemblies. Interpret engineering documentation and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and production performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specifications.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 9 - 15 years of experience or Master's degree and 7 - 13 years of experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience with AutoCAD
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Blueprint Reading
- 1 - 2 years of experience with General Assembly
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Wireharness Print Reading
- 1 - 2 years of experience with J-STD-001
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Cable Harness
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Circuit Cards
- Less than 1 year of experience with Surface Mount Technology
- Cable harness experience
- Electromechanical subassembly experience
- Process writing experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for circuit card assemblies and module assemblies
- Interpret engineering prints to develop manufacturing processes and production methods
- Collaborate with design engineering to implement production improvements
- Support the production floor by working directly with operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement activities focused on manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Develop, procure, and implement tooling to support manufacturing processes
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans when required
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling performance to verify operational efficiency
- Investigate manufacturing issues and initiate corrective actions to address deficiencies and ensure product quality
- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to optimize manufacturing methods and equipment utilization
- Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and specifications
- Support manufacturing activities involving circuit card assemblies and subassemblies
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
- Worker will work onsite full-time
