Job Description

Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, production documentation, and configuration management processes supporting electrical and electronics manufacturing operations. Lead producibility assessments, tooling coordination, and manufacturing issue resolution activities to support delivery requirements and business objectives. Provide planning support to production teams while ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements.

    • Variable Shift, 4x10 Schedule (A Shift: Sun-Wed, B Shift: Wed-Sat), must be willing to work 1st or 2nd Shift
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 8+ years of work-related experience
    • Prior Manufacturing Planner experience
    • CAD software experience
    • Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data, including reading 2D and 3D drawings and specifications
    • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes
    • Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Preferred Skills
    • Experience with Gold ESP
    • Experience with MESCI
    • Working knowledge of WIRS software
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Plan and lead departmental and organizational processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations
    • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies that support business objectives
    • Support mechanics by providing clarification related to planning, engineering drawings, and specifications
    • Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports
    • Lead integration efforts involving suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
    • Participate in source selection activities to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
    • Develop complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs
    • Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition
    • Investigate and resolve complex or systemic manufacturing-related issues
    • Conduct producibility assessments of design concepts and lead teams performing those evaluations
    • Support enterprise-level benchmarking initiatives to incorporate best practices
    • Create complex work statements and sequence events to support delivery commitments
    • Develop scheduling templates for organizational use
    • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures supporting business and regulatory requirements
    • Document new job practices, techniques, and standards
