Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, build documentation, and production processes supporting electrical and electronics manufacturing activities. Analyze producibility requirements, coordinate cross-functional integration efforts, and resolve manufacturing-related issues to support program objectives. Lead technical collaboration activities while supporting installation planning, configuration management, and production execution.

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline
    • 9+ years of related work experience
    • Background in an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering role
    • Proficiency with wire bundle fabrication concepts, wiring installation, electrical equipment installation, or installation of wiring provisions
    • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
    • Leadership experience managing cross-functional projects
    • Regular and predictable attendance is required
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • Background in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification
    • Proficiency testing and troubleshooting commercial aircraft avionics and electrical systems
    • Experience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) tools such as OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium, or PSPICE to perform schematic capture, printed board design/layout, and circuit simulation
    • Working knowledge of WIRS software
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configurations
    • Lead and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and processes
    • Analyze design and build concepts to evaluate producible definitions and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements
    • Integrate changes across affected commodities and execute build integration milestones
    • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
    • Collaborate across affected commodities to support manufacturing objectives
    • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues encountered during production activities
    • Create installation planning documentation and support installation planning activities
    • Collect data to support producibility assessments for parts and product designs
    • Develop work statements and sequencing activities of limited scope with internal business partners
    • Review, maintain, and monitor internal documentation
    • Support process and tool improvement projects to enhance team performance
    • Resolve complex technical problems
    • Provide guidance and structured mentoring to team members
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and internal teams
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • 100% Onsite
    • Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd Shift
    • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to support business needs and deadlines
    • Must be able to go up and down stairs
    • Must be able to work in confined spaces
    • Successful completion of required on-the-job training or formal classroom training is required
