Inventory Planner / Controller

Job Description

Perform inventory planning and control activities to support sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points. Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, production plans, and sales forecasts to ensure material availability and distribution efficiency. Coordinate inventory movements, stock transfers, and corrective actions to support operational requirements.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 4 - 8 years of work-related experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience with Inventory Control
• 4 - 6 years of experience with Inventory Management
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• SAP experience preferred

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plan and control inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand
• Analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, planned production, and sales forecasts
• Develop and maintain inputs to inventory management systems
• Coordinate liquidation and transfer of stock based on cost, age, and demand requirements
• Initiate immediate corrective actions during out-of-stock situations
• Collaborate with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to support routing, scheduling, and storage of goods
• Support inventory and material handling activities
• Follow government property handling requirements and specialized atlas training requirements
