Job Description
Design, develop, document, and implement artificial intelligence algorithms and models supporting engineering initiatives focused on AI-driven software development and DevSecOps practices. Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights while ensuring data quality and reliability. Develop, test, deploy, and monitor AI models and software systems, integrating them into production environments and improving performance over time through validation and iteration.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry with 5+ years of work-related experience
- 3+ years of experience in a software engineering classification
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing AI algorithms and models using standard methods and tools
- Experience with programming languages, including C, C++, and Python
- Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks such as Google Test or PyTest
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience integrating software with hardware-in-the-loop testing environments
- Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Experience applying AI tools to software development and testing workflows
- Experience with ADA or avionics software systems
- Experience working in DevSecOps environments and fast-paced agile teams
- Strong documentation and communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and iterate AI models
- Job Duties & Functions
- Design and implement AI algorithms and models using established engineering and ethical guidelines
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Test, validate, and debug AI models and software systems for performance and reliability
- Integrate AI models into production environments and monitor ongoing performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and refine AI solutions
- Conduct safety risk assessments for AI models in accordance with organizational standards
- Research and implement emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices
- Support automated testing and CI/CD pipeline integration for AI development workflows
- Document AI models, system behavior, and deployment procedures for engineering teams
