Software Engineer

Job Description

Lead full-stack software engineering activities for a development team delivering next-generation data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities for an Air & Commercial Solutions turnkey program. Design and implement scalable platforms supporting advanced analytics, AI-driven development acceleration, and secure data management. Develop APIs, user interfaces, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance across distributed environments.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience delivering full-stack software solutions on complex data-intensive programs
• Experience with version control systems, preferably GitLab, including repositories, merge requests, and pipelines(Version Control & CI/CD)
• Strong understanding of design patterns, automated testing, continuous integration, and code quality practices
• Experience with relational databases, messaging systems, REST APIs, and object storage technologies
• Experience designing and implementing responsive user interfaces and dashboards
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban in cross-functional teams
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Nexus, GitLab Runner, and Harbor
• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Shadcn UI Kit, FastAPI, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with Apache Superset and Trino for analytics and cross-platform querying
• Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud or air-gapped deployment environments
• Experience integrating email and SMS notification systems
• Experience with SCORM, xAPI, and CMI5 learning management standards

• Job Duties & Functions
• Design and implement scalable full-stack platforms supporting analytics and AI-driven development acceleration
• Define and maintain secure APIs for frontend and third-party system integration
• Develop responsive UI components and dashboards using modern React-based frameworks
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for automated testing, linting, and deployment
• Integrate third-party services, including messaging and learning management systems
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and prevent regressions
• Document APIs, data models, and deployment procedures for cross-team collaboration
• Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, archival, backup, and disaster recovery strategies across platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, and architectural validation
