- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 9-15 years of experience or Master's degree and 7-13 years of experience
- 6+ years of experience with C++
- Embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- 6+ years of experience with Embedded Systems
- Bare metal programming experience
- Hardware driver development experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software containing logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission requirements
- Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle
- Utilize knowledge of computer hardware, software, information processing techniques, and user requirements to develop software solutions
- Correct program errors and prepare operating instructions
- Compile documentation supporting program development activities
- Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
- Ensure compliance with software standards
- Develop and maintain C++ code for secure processing applications
- Create new software applications and maintain legacy code utilized by existing systems
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver prototypes and fully capable systems
- Verify software solutions meet security and performance requirements
