Job Description
Support tooling and material operations for the F/A-18 program by coordinating inventory, storage, distribution, and material availability activities. Maintain inventory accuracy, support production schedules, and ensure compliance with safety, tool control, and operational requirements.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with warehouse inventory, including parts accuracy and accountability
- Possess computer experience and competency
- Maintain a current forklift license or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information in manuals, blueprints, and other documents
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Job Duties & Functions
- Route materials to prescribed storage locations in accordance with established storage procedures
- Conduct inventories of stored materials and report deterioration or damage
- Remove and issue materials from storage and prepare them for shipment
- Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to support assigned duties
- Comply with health and safety requirements, tool control procedures, FOD prevention practices, contracts, facility requirements, housekeeping standards, and inventory control procedures
- Review production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to support schedule demands
- Identify material-related issues and coordinate solutions to support quality standards, schedules, and material cost objectives
- Investigate inventory, schedule, configuration control, and material requirement concerns
- Analyze complex material, inventory, and scheduling problems when required
- Coordinate resolution activities with applicable teams and stakeholders
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision and management
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ascend and descend vertical work ladders
- Work in confined spaces
- Lift loads of approximately 35 pounds
- Perform two-person lifts for weights greater than 50 pounds when required
- Wear personal protective equipment for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms as required
- Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
- Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials
- Perform occasional finger manipulation for 1 to 3 hours
- Reach overhead frequently for 3 to 6 hours
- Walk frequently on flat surfaces
- Stand frequently on flat or uneven surfaces
- Balance frequently on ladders, steps, and uneven surfaces
- Climb occasionally on 3- to 12-foot ladders or stands
- Rotate head and neck, sit, crawl, squat, bend, stoop, lie down, and operate foot controls for extended periods
- Work around metals on an occasional basis
- Experience frequent exposure to noise
- Work overtime and weekends as required
- Support 1st and 2nd Shift operations
