Job Description

Support product acceptance and quality assurance activities by verifying product conformance to design requirements, conducting inspections and audits, and documenting non-conformance findings. Coordinate product verification processes while maintaining compliance with aerospace manufacturing and quality standards.

    • Contract – 6 Months
    • Variable Shifts – must be able to work any shift - Shift based on business needs
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
    • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
    • 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Willing and able to work any shift assigned
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Preferred Skills
    • 1+ years of experience with the following types of hand tools, including calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, and go/no-go gages
    • 1+ year experience navigating CMES
    • 1+ years of experience working with REDARS, IVT
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Verify routine product conformance to design requirements
    • Provide objective evidence of inspection and verification results
    • Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring activities throughout production operations
    • Identify and document discrepancies identified during inspection and review processes
    • Segregate and control non-conforming items in accordance with quality procedures
    • Conduct preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance conditions
    • Coordinate product reviews with customers during product and process verification activities
    • Initiate requests for corrective action involving repetitive or significant non-conformances
    • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to document quality findings and maintain records
    • Support quality assurance activities within aerospace manufacturing operations
    • Maintain compliance with established quality standards and production requirements
    • Attend classroom and Structured On-the-Job Training programs as required for assignment completion
    • Support overtime requirements based on business needs
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work onsite full-time in North Charleston, SC
    • Support variable shifts based on business needs
    • Attend general class training at Trident Tech for approximately 2 months
    • Complete Structured On-the-Job Training for approximately 4 months
    • Training duration may extend up to 6 months, depending on individual progress
    • Support overtime requirements as needed
