Job Description
Perform aircraft interior installation, repair, fabrication, and maintenance activities on cabin components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, technical data, and company quality standards. Lead interior maintenance operations by coordinating workforce activities, overseeing installations, and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient completion of aircraft interior systems work.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- 5+ years of aircraft interior maintenance experience
- 5+ years of work-related experience
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English and follow verbal and written instructions
- Interpret and apply technical data relevant to aircraft interiors
- Operate standard shift vehicles and related support equipment safely
- Work independently or under supervision as required
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Valid A&P License
- Repairman’s Certificate for Interiors and Related Structures preferred
- Experience in aircraft interior fabrication, installation, and repair environments
- Strong mathematical and measurement accuracy skills
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and aircraft interior production procedures
- Experience coordinating or leading interior maintenance teams
- Job Duties & Functions
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, technical data, and company maintenance procedures
- Coordinate with supervisors and production control to report job progress and workforce status
- Analyze non-preplanned work to determine repair methods, materials, tooling, and labor estimates
- Document all removed aircraft components with proper job numbers and defined work scope
- Execute proper tagging of repairable, serviceable, and condemned interior components
- Perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, and testing of cabin interior systems
- Install interior furnishings, including carpeting, sidewalls, doors, windows, seats, partitions, galleys, and passenger service units
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to determine installation requirements
- Measure and mark installation areas using precision tools and templates
- Trim, file, and fit interior components using hand and power tools
- Fabricate and install structural supports such as brackets, clips, angles, gussets, and doublers
- Test functional performance of installed interior components and rework installations as required
- Provide on-the-job training and ensure training documentation is completed and signed
- Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
- Assign work duties, coordinate personnel activities, and resolve workflow issues
- Maintain communication across assigned work areas to ensure efficiency and teamwork
- Track labor hours and ensure accurate timecard documentation
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods during shift operations
- Perform frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level
- Occasionally crawl, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Utilize eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity for installation and fabrication tasks
- Work in hangars, flightline, and avionics shop environments
- Exposure to noise, temperature changes, electrical energy, radar waves, hazardous materials, and moving equipment
- Use required PPE including goggles, gloves, face shields, respirators, hearing protection, and safety harnesses
- Work across Marana, AZ, and Tucson, AZ, locations as needed
