Job Description
The Assembler operates dispensing and coating equipment to support the manufacturing and finishing of circuit boards, assemblies, and electronic components. The role performs masking, coating inspection, encapsulation, machine maintenance, chemical handling, and related production support activities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-5 years of work-related experience
- Knowledge of various materials used
- Must complete applicable Specific Function Training courses
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Job Duties & Functions
- Operate several different types of dispensing and coating machines to meet customer specifications
- Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting
- Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage
- Maintain coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition
- Remove excess coating and perform manual touch-up of areas the coating machine may miss to maintain consistent high quality
- Transport racks of circuit boards from one destination to another to continue the manufacturing process
- Maintain machines, including changing fluids and mixers, and cleaning machines to ensure proper and efficient operation
- Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe and clean working environment at all times
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements
- Perform encapsulation of discrete assemblies
- Replenish chemicals, solvents, compounds, and process fluids as required, including dispensing into secondary containers and chemical cleaning
- Prepare and apply potting, bonding, and coating compounds, lubricants, spray coats, or insulated tape to a variety of components and assemblies, including all finishing processes
- Advance or retrieve product, material, and tools in-house and from local suppliers for self and others
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Perform work in a manufacturing environment involving chemicals, solvents, compounds, and process fluids
