Job Description
The SMT Operator operates through-hole and surface mount technology automatic assembly equipment to produce high-quality printed circuit board assemblies. This role supports equipment setup, operation, solder paste application, component placement, inspection, and routine maintenance activities within an electronics manufacturing environment.

- $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly
- Education & Job Requirements
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand Mil-Specifications and Electronics schematics
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Utilize drawings, visual aids, and other instructions to identify defects
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- SMT knowledge is a plus
- AOI & Visual Defect identification
- Job Duties & Functions
- Operate through-hole or surface mount technology automatic assembly equipment to produce high-quality complex printed circuit board assemblies
- Perform setup, operation, and routine maintenance of SMT equipment
- Manually or using semi-automatic equipment, screen print solder paste
- Operate adhesive dispensing equipment
- Load components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders and load feeders onto placement equipment
- Hand-place SMT components when required
- Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens
- Use standard electronic hand tools, including solder, flux, and adhesive
- Utilize drawings, visual aids, and other instructions to identify defects
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Worker will work onsite full-time
- Work Schedule 4/10-1st Shift
