Job Description

Performs testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic circuit card assemblies and RF subcomponents using standard procedures and diagnostic equipment. Supports production and engineering efforts by analyzing test results, calibrating systems, and assisting with process improvements.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • 1 year of direct experience with testing electronic assemblies
    • Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital, and RF circuits.
    • Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions.
    • Flying probe test experience needed, troubleshooting a must.
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree, and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
    • 3 years of related work experience
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Preferred Skills
    • Extensive RF Testing experience
    • Familiarity with Radar Systems
    • ICT/Flying Probe experience
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassemblies following established procedures and standards
    • Assembles and lays out production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
    • Adjusts and calibrates electronic systems to meet performance requirements
    • Troubleshoots and isolates failures to the component level using schematic diagrams for analog and digital circuitry
    • Analyzes test results to evaluate product and equipment performance and recommends improvements
    • Determines testing methods, approves modifications to test equipment, and supports development of new test procedures
    • Utilizes measurement and diagnostic tools, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and RF power meters
    • Supports engineers in the design, development, and validation of test processes for new products
    • Monitors product quality using statistical process control and inspection procedures
    • Performs rework, repair, and replacement of defective components to restore functionality
