Assembler | Cable

Job Description

Performs cable harness assembly and soldering operations, including wire preparation, crimping, and final assembly, in accordance with engineering documentation and IPC quality standards. Ensures accurate interpretation of schematics and maintains compliance with established manufacturing procedures.

• $18.00 - $25.00 Hourly

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Electro-Mechanical
• Mechanical Assembly
• Blueprint Reading
• Electro-mechanical sensors and actuators
• IPC-WHMA-A-620
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Strips, crimps, and assembles copper and coaxial wires to build cable harnesses
• Performs soldering operations in accordance with IPC standards and work instructions
• Builds complete cable harness assemblies following documented procedures and specifications
• Interprets engineering prints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly
• Inspects and verifies assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC 610 and IPC 620 quality standards
• Maintains attention to detail and mechanical precision throughout assembly processes
