Job Description

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software solutions that address complex business and mission requirements using structured programming and data processing systems. Applies established software development standards, tools, and lifecycle processes to ensure reliable and compliant system performance.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree + 16 years of experience or Master’s degree + 14 years of experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience with Agile Software Development
• 6+ years of experience with C
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Eclipse
• 4 - 6 years of experience with GIT
• 4 - 6 years of experience with GitLab
• 2 - 4 years of experience with Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI)
• 1 - 2 years of experience with Vector Suite
• 2 - 4 years of experience with VSCode
• 2 - 4 years of experience with YML
• 4 - 6 years of experience with I2C
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities across the full development lifecycle
• Designs and develops software solutions using logical and mathematical approaches to solve business and mission problems
• Documents, tests, and debugs software to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements
• Applies software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout all phases of development
• Analyzes system capabilities, including program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques
• Develops solutions based on knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and information processing techniques
• Collaborates with system users to gather requirements and translate them into functional software designs
• Identifies and corrects program errors to maintain system integrity and performance
• Prepares operating instructions and compiles comprehensive documentation of software development activities
• Ensures adherence to established software standards and quality requirements
