Job Description

Oversees aircraft maintenance activities while supporting task assignment, workflow coordination, and quality assurance to ensure all work is completed in compliance with company, customer, and FAA requirements.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • A minimum of 5 years of recent heavy commercial maintenance experience, one of the following: B737, B737 MAX, B737NG, B747, B747-400, B747-8, B757, B767, B777, and B787 (Not Assembly)
    • Must have an A&P License.
    • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
    • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and various other technical data, i.e., Structural Repair Manual (SRM), General Maintenance Manual (GMM), etc.
    • A valid Texas driver’s license to operate moving equipment and machinery
    • Problem resolution and good interpersonal skills working with all levels of the organization are a must
    • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Train and assist subordinates in proper work procedures and practices
    • Prioritize daily work requirements based on schedule and manpower availability
    • Assign tasks to qualified Mechanics and Technicians according to work scope requirements
    • Provide technical assistance to ensure maintenance is performed properly and meets quality standards
    • Indoctrinate new personnel on safety precautions and workmanship standards
    • Reinforce safety standards and quality expectations across the team
    • Monitor task progress to maintain the schedule and identify potential issues
    • Document incomplete or delayed tasks with supporting details
    • Collaborate with team members to address workflow concerns and resolve production risks
    • Ensure maintenance is performed and recorded in accordance with company, customer, and FAA requirements
    • Support proper tagging, handling, and preservation of parts and components
    • Maintain housekeeping and safety practices within hangars and aircraft work areas
    • Communicate safety policies, responsibilities, and operational updates to personnel
    • Verify authorized personnel complete maintenance entries on required documentation
    • Utilize computer systems to research technical data and ensure the use of approved parts and procedures
