Job Description

Performs upholstery fabrication, modification, and installation on aircraft interior components, including full seat refurbishment, foam build-up and shaping, and soft goods production. Utilizes advanced patterning, and foam work techniques while ensuring compliance with FAA standards and engineering specifications.Pay Rate: $30.00 -$50.00 per hour depending on experience level

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with interior refurbishment or heavy modifications
• Familiarity with various seat styles such as Cessna Citation, King Air, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon Jet, Bombardier.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years of aircraft upholstery experience with Corporate Jets or other VIP aircraft
• Strong industrial sewing experience
• Knowledge of aircraft upholstery materials, foams, and adhesives
• Experience performing patterning and foam shaping
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Able to work independently and meet production timelines
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fitment and upholstery issues

• Job Duties & Functions
• Perform complete aircraft seat upholstery refurbishment, including disassembly, inspection, foam repair, foam shaping, patterning, sewing, and final installation
• Execute foam build-up, contouring, and replacement to meet comfort and design specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings, material specifications, and aircraft interior layouts
• Troubleshoot and repair seat defects, foam degradation, and fitment issues
• Perform interior modifications and refurbishments for aircraft interiors
• Ensure compliance with FAA flammability standards and quality requirements
• Maintain tools and upholstery shop equipment

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Work performed in an aircraft hangar and interior shop environment
• May require overtime, shift flexibility, and project-based scheduling
