Product Review Engineer 4

Job Description

Performs liaison engineering activities to resolve production and in-service product issues through analysis, disposition development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams supporting aerospace systems.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Level 4: 9 + years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a Master's degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
• Have good communication and cross-group collaboration skills
• Hands-on problem-solving skills

• Job Duties & Functions
• Research engineering design principles to develop solutions for product and process issues in production and in-service environments
• Analyze non-conformances and support root cause investigations while drafting engineering dispositions
• Assist system owners in preparing technical communications and documentation
• Evaluate fleet data and customer findings to identify product and process improvement opportunities
• Support identification of deviations that may impact design intent and safety requirements
• Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams to resolve engineering issues
• Assist in designing interim structural repairs to restore components to original design strength capability
