Manufacturing Engineer 4

Job Description

Supports production and in-service engineering activities by analyzing non-conformances, developing dispositions, and coordinating solutions to ensure product integrity and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

• Position Details
• Aerospace / Manufacturing Engineering
• 1st or 2nd Shift (Must be flexible; assigned at offer)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• 9+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s degree, or a PhD with related experience
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Researches engineering design principles to support the resolution of product and process issues
• Analyzes non-conformances and develops engineering dispositions
• Performs root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues
• Supports preparation of technical communications and documentation
• Collects and evaluates data to identify trends and product improvement opportunities
• Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams
• Identifies deviations impacting design intent, quality, and safety
• Assists in the development of interim repair solutions for structural discrepancies
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of engineering issues
