Manufacturing Engineer 3

Job Description

Supports production engineering activities by assisting in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, tooling, and technical solutions within an aerospace production environment.

• Position Details
• Aerospace Manufacturing
• 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering classification, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD with related experience
• Experience working in an engineering discipline
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Job Duties & Functions
• Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
• Participates in Integrated Product Teams to support technical solution integration
• Supports development and maintenance of program architecture for production builds
• Implements manufacturing plans in coordination with engineering and production teams
• Resolves technical issues and supports the application of engineering principles and technologies
• Applies Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies within production processes
• Collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to support product development and process improvements

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Stands and walks for extended periods on the production floor
• Climbs ladders and stairs to access equipment or aircraft sections
• Works at heights and in confined or tight spaces
• Uses required personal protective equipment in a manufacturing environment
