Manufacturing Planner 2

Job Description

Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, bills of materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Supports supplier integration, tooling identification, producibility assessments, and production sequencing to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements under general supervision.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Associate’s degree in a related discipline and 1 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Background in manufacturing, machining, or production environments
• Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience handling aerospace parts in general
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Develops manufacturing plans, bills of materials, work instructions, and as-built configuration documentation
• Assists with the integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing requirements
• Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
• Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on engineering needs
• Assists with tooling dispositions and manufacturing issue resolution within limited scope
• Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues of limited scope
• Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs
• Provides input to manufacturing processes and technologies to support cost and schedule objectives
• Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
• Reviews and maintains internal manufacturing documentation
• Works under general supervision
