Job Description

The Design and Analysis Engineer develops and implements test architectures and solutions for electronic systems, supporting product development through validation, automation, and system integration. This role ensures test readiness, performance, and reliability across development and production environments.

• Schedule: Full Time, 1st Shift, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, and 9 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 or more years of experience in architecture and design of test solutions
• 5 or more years of experience performing engineering tests
• Working knowledge of designing test equipment for new products
• Experience performing and maintaining test equipment for production programs
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repairing test equipment experience
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Preferred Skills
• 10 or more years of experience in architecture and design of test solutions
• 10 or more years of experience performing engineering tests
• Experience leading test programs
• Ability to mentor engineers and lab technicians

• Job Duties & Functions
• Designs and implements end-to-end test solutions for components and programs
• Develops and maintains test automation frameworks, libraries, and fixtures
• Translates product and feature requirements into scalable test architectures
• Integrates hardware and software test environments while managing system dependencies
• Creates and maintains test plans, test cases, and traceability documentation
• Builds test fixtures and equipment to support development and production efforts
• Executes testing activities, analyzes results, and tracks defects through resolution
• Ensures quality, maintainability, and reusability of test code and systems
• Leads technical reviews across cross-functional engineering teams
• Performs verification and validation of test requirements and system performance
• Leads qualification, ATP, and ESS testing for new and existing products
• Maintains and upgrades test equipment to support long-term production needs
• Troubleshoots and performs root cause analysis on test equipment failures
• Trains technicians and engineers on test equipment operation and maintenance
• Drives modernization initiatives for test platforms, infrastructure, and toolchains
• Aligns cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and validation
• Implements best practices for test development processes and methodologies
