Job Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft systems, airframes, and engines to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards. This role supports safe and efficient aircraft operations through technical execution, inspection, and coordination with maintenance personnel.

- Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00/hour
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Must possess a current and valid A&P License
- Must meet airport badging requirements with no ramp restrictions
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Inspection Authorization (IA) License
- Job Duties & Functions
- Performs maintenance, repair, replacement, and overhaul of aircraft systems, airframes, and engines in accordance with FAA and manufacturer specifications
- Inspects aircraft to identify unsafe conditions and reports discrepancies to leadership
- Utilizes technical publications, including maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins
- Maintains and operates hand tools, test equipment, and shop maintenance gear
- Coordinates with shop and office personnel to ensure efficient workflow and aircraft turnaround
- Executes assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner under management direction
- Communicates professionally with customers and internal teams regarding aircraft status and work performed
- Maintains clean and organized work areas, supporting overall shop housekeeping standards
- Assists with aircraft movement in and out of hangars as needed
- Supports additional maintenance activities and special projects as directed by leadership
- Applies basic mathematical calculations and technical reasoning to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
- Interprets technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications to perform accurate maintenance tasks
- Assists department leadership with budget-related considerations and resource usage
