Job Description

Sheet Metal Fabricator performs layout, fabrication, assembly, and finishing of sheet metal components in accordance with customer requirements and aerospace specifications. The role supports production operations by ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Clearance Requirements: N/A
• Tool Requirements: Personal set of Sheetmetal tools are required
• Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience
• Experience with Corporate Jet and/or General Aviation aircraft
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail with focus on quality and production output
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Job Duties & Functions
• Lay out, fabricate and install sheet metal parts in accordance with customer requirements and aerospace specifications
• Measure, mark, form, and debur sheet metal components to required tolerances
• Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, cutting machines, computerized equipment, hand tools, and power tools to cut, bend, drill, and shape materials
• Fit, join, and fasten sheet metal parts to assemble final products and installation components
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering specifications
• Repair and maintain sheet metal assemblies as required to support production and service needs
• Coordinate with departments and work centers to meet production schedules and delivery targets
• Advance in-progress work to ensure timely completion of assigned jobs
• Perform additional miscellaneous duties as assigned
