- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with P-8 aircraft.
- General knowledge of structural repair principles, including fatigue, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, and material strength.
- Knowledge of structural repair, overhaul, nondestructive inspection, corrosion control, and composites.
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory.
- Knowledge of aircraft tools, including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and sheet metal brakes and shears.
- Ability to read and interpret technical publications, blueprints, and manufacturer manuals.
- Ability to prioritize workload and maintain project schedules.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Preferred Skills
- Military or commercial aircraft experience.
- Experience with 737 aircraft.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft systems and components.
- Perform structural repairs and modifications of moderate difficulty.
- Maintain and repair aircraft systems, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and restore system functionality.
- Interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and manufacturer manuals.
- Document procedures and processes to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Inspect components and verify repairs meet flightworthiness requirements.
- Make entries in aircraft logs and maintenance records as required.
- Support team activities and occasionally lead tasks on complex assignments.

- Ability to climb ladders and enter confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
