Warehouse and Support Specialist

Job Description

Support warehouse and panel shop operations by handling materials, preparing parts for shipment, and assisting with daily shop activities. Responsibilities include crating parts, stocking and counting inventory, operating equipment such as forklifts, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. This role also contributes to maintaining a clean and organized work environment while performing general support duties as needed.

• Pay Rate: $15.00-$20.00/hour

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Previous experience related to warehouse or material handling duties is a plus!

• Job Duties & Functions
• Crate parts for shipment and storage.
• Handle materials, including storing, stocking, and counting inventory.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials on the shipping dock.
• Support shop cleanliness by sweeping and maintaining work areas.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Drive a company pickup truck as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders, and work stands.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of the shift.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
• Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
