Job Description

Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation by applying company, industry, and governmental standards. Builds and installs wire bundles and components, troubleshoots systems to ensure correct installation and safe operation, and supports system validation and testing. Coordinates with internal partners and external suppliers, performs analysis from source data, and documents procedures to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s degree + 1 years of related work experience, 5 years of related work experience, etc.).
    • Electrical background and wire installation experience
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance if required post start.
    • Preferred Skills
    • Electrical installation experience in commercial or industrial settings.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation.
    • Prepares documentation, incorporates design changes, and verifies information for discrepancies.
    • Builds lab systems, installs wire bundles and components, and troubleshoots systems to confirm proper and safe operation.
    • Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
    • Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
    • Performs analysis from source data or pre-set-up packages and documents results.
    • Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
    • Performs production roles as assigned following desktop procedures, publications standards, and government/customer specifications.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Full-time, onsite work.
    • Shift work on 2nd shift (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM) with some flexibility around start time.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
    • No heavy travel or safety-sensitive work required.
