Job Description
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes. Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform validation and verification testing, and document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. Inspects components for flight worthiness, supports integrated weapons and electro-mechanical systems, and assists with training under general direction.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience ORan equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Significant experience military avionics experience desired on any platform. (3-5 years avionics exp)
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Testing, repair, and configuration experience
- Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with M240 maintenance and uploading chaff/flare onto aircraft.
- Experience handling explosives for squibs.
- Knowledge of IMDS, AF-21-10, and TO 00-20-1.
- Military background.
- Experience with helicopter maintenance.
- AMP experience.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assembles, disassembles, and modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
- Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results to ensure compliance.
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness.
- Performs maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated conventional weapons systems, electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, and subassemblies.
- Removes and installs components and associated test equipment, both on and off equipment.
- Performs pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of systems and subassemblies.
- Accomplishes configuration changes based on mission requirements.
- Performs explosive operations, including loading, positioning, arming, and safing of conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics.
- Controls tools, cleans work areas and equipment, and completes work control documents according to established procedures.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
- All required PPE will be provided.
- Shift work includes 1st, 2nd, and possible future 3rd shifts with occasional weekend hours.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Some travel to nearby Boeing sites may be required.
