Job Description
#Job Description*Perform avionics wiring installation, routing, and system integration on aircraft while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, approved procedures, and regulatory requirements.*Execute wiring checks, basic system testing, and troubleshooting activities to support functional system performance.*Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors and avionics equipment as required to complete installations and repairs.*Document completed work accurately, maintain technical knowledge, and support team operations, including occasional travel and schedule flexibility.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of related avionics or electronics experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of avionics installation experience with demonstrated troubleshooting preferred.
- Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license preferred.
- Must have a Repairman Certificate or be able to obtain one.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to document work accurately and follow work order processes.
- Willingness to maintain current technical knowledge and assist less experienced technicians.
- Leadership skills desired.
- Preferred Skills
- A&P License.
- Garmin avionics experience is a plus!
- A minimum of 5 years of avionics installation experience with demonstrated troubleshooting.
- NCATT AET Certificate.
- Advanced education.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform wire marking, bundling, and pre-pinning of systems for installation.
- Route wiring throughout the aircraft and connect wiring to relays, circuit breakers, connectors, and switches.
- Prepare and pin system terminations per manufacturer specifications, approved procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors, instrument panels, and avionics equipment bays for installation and repair.
- Perform wiring checks and basic system checks to ensure functionality.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and wiring on aircraft systems and avionics equipment.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and report issues while consulting with senior technicians for corrective actions.
- Document completed work on work orders in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain industry, equipment, and FAA knowledge through training and technical resources.
- Assist less experienced technicians with interpreting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Travel occasionally as required and perform other duties as assigned.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Read small print and identify colors.
- Perform repetitive motions and work in confined spaces.
- Work at heights above four feet.
- Tolerate materials associated with component maintenance.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and sit as required.
- Work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed.
