Systems Engineer 6

Job Description

The Systems Engineer 6 is responsible for the design, development, and integration of advanced SIGINT systems supporting airborne and space missions. This role focuses on system architecture, sensor integration, data processing, and performance validation to ensure mission requirements are met. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts system analysis and testing, and supports documentation and continuous improvement of complex communication and signal intelligence systems.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Proven experience in the design, integration, and testing of SIGINT systems.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, data acquisition, and data processing techniques.
• Knowledge of communication systems and data transmission protocols.
• Experience with software tools for simulation and modeling of sensor systems.
• Must have SIGINT experience.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret – SCI Security Clearance.

• Lead the design and development of SIGINT systems, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor and data processing systems.
• Conduct performance analysis and testing of systems, including environmental testing and data validation.
• Develop documentation related to design, testing, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in SIGINT systems and recommend improvements.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and management activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
