Job Description

The Product Data Management Engineer 4 oversees the development, analysis, and compliance verification of product and process baselines for complex, highly integrated systems. This role leads configuration and data management activities, including technical design reviews, audits, and change proposal development, while ensuring alignment with lifecycle requirements. The engineer drives the implementation of configuration management standards, resolves complex product structure issues, and supports the integration of engineering technical program plans. Strong expertise in certification processes, airplane systems, and project management is required to ensure successful execution and compliance.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years of related work experience, Master’s degree + 7 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
• Experience with Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) procedures.
• Experience working with airplane systems and/or certification.
• Experience with project management and self-managing projects.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Job Duties & Functions
• Oversee development, analysis, and compliance verification of process and product baselines.
• Lead definition and planning of technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.
• Lead analysis of complex product trades and changes, and develop change proposals.
• Implement configuration and data management standards, processes, systems, and tools.
• Define and allocate configuration and data management requirements across product lifecycle.
• Ensure integration of product elements and resolve complex product structure issues.
• Lead development, integration, and implementation of engineering technical program plans.
