A subject matter expert within Integrated Product Teams, supporting product development, producibility studies, and manufacturing planning for assembly and installation processes. This role refines and implements design concepts, conducts complex analyses, and ensures manufacturing capability aligns with requirements while resolving technical issues and supporting build integration. The engineer collaborates across stakeholders to implement design changes, support installation planning, and optimize manufacturing processes. Strong technical expertise, collaboration, and the ability to manage integration milestones and engineering changes are essential to ensure program success.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master’s degree + 3 years of related work experience).
- 2-3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- 2-3+ years of experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components.
- 2-3+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills and teaming to solve technical issues.
- Experience with CATIA.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Job Duties & Functions
- Implement design and build plan changes while minimizing disruption and maximizing benefits through collaborative processes.
- Integrate changes to affected commodities and execute build integration milestones.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners while providing oversight and approval of technical approaches.
- Support execution of the build integration process by providing visibility of engineering design changes and associated risks.
- Facilitate collaboration and integration across affected commodities.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
- Create installation planning and support installation planning activities.
- Support team performance by participating in process and tool improvement projects.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability meets requirements.
- Resolve complex technical problems and support research of new products or business opportunities.
