Job Description
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools. This role supports production flow by working within integrated teams, following detailed work instructions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school or Associate degree).
- A minimum of 1 or more years of experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication.
- A minimum of 1 or more years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications, and following detailed work instructions in English.
- A minimum of 1 or more years of experience using software applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based tools.
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
- Use manual and automated tools to complete assembly tasks.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance.
- Partner with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and team leaders to mitigate performance risks.
- Identify production constraints and escalate issues using clear communication.
- Utilize KPI and Boeing Production System (BPS) principles to improve workflow and environment.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities.
- Support team performance through cross-training and mentoring.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching overhead, standing, walking, and climbing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in environments requiring handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Additional Information
- Successful completion of required training (OJT or classroom) is mandatory.
- Overtime may be required to meet production commitments.
