Supports high-visibility aerospace programs by leading technical projects and driving cross-functional integration to resolve complex engineering challenges. This role provides technical, business, and program leadership across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with program goals. Responsibilities include managing risks and opportunities, leading investigations, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting certification and production efforts. The position plays a critical role in delivering innovative solutions and sustaining production and in-service aircraft operations.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years of related work experience, Master’s degree + 7 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- A minimum of 10 or more years of experience performing complex engineering or system integration work.
- A minimum of 7 or more years of experience leading or managing complex projects.
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Preferred Skills
- 7 or more years of experience with transport category aircraft, Boeing 7-Series, or McDonnell Douglas aircraft.
- 5 or more years of experience with U.S. or foreign aircraft certification and regulatory processes.
- 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with FAA regulations and regulatory administration.
- Project management experience, such as PMBOK or ANSI/PMI standards.
- Experience leading major design changes through multiple phases of the product and certification lifecycle.
- Ability to work outside defined processes and establish structure where needed.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Lead technical projects and initiatives supporting in-service, in-production, and development programs.
- Support program goals, initiatives, and challenges through cross-functional coordination.
- Develop integrated project plans, establish teams, and monitor technical progress.
- Manage risks and opportunities and support cross-functional and integrated product team issues.
- Lead technical integration, certification activities, and project management efforts to resolve complex issues.
- Conduct detailed investigations to ensure system integration, compliance, and safety.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, customers, regulators, and suppliers.
- Support production, delivery, return-to-service activities, and supply chain issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulatory requirements.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
