The analyst transforms complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence, automates reporting processes, and enhances data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is required to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience.
- 4+ years of experience using 3-D CAD software tools in design function, including SolidWorks or equivalent modeling software.
- 2+ years of experience interpreting and performing to military and/or industry specifications and standards pertaining to design, testing, hardware, material, and processes.

- Ability to lead mechanical engineering design efforts.

- Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial, Navy, or Military specifications for environmental qualification testing.
- Experience working with power distribution switchgear or similar low, medium, or high-power equipment.
- 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience in the design of shock and vibration mitigation for sheet metal weldment electrical enclosures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
- Ability to lead others in a design team and execute tasks on time and on budget.
- Excellent technical writing skills demonstrated through authorship of technical documentation, including design reports and test procedures.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform mechanical engineering, structural, and thermal analysis of power distribution systems.
- Develop mechanical layouts and packaging for switchboards, load centers, and power distribution panels.
- Interpret specifications and requirements to resolve complex mechanical design and analysis problems.
- Lead mechanical engineering design efforts on assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with military and industry standards for design, testing, materials, and processes.
