Job Description
Design, develop, implement, and maintain software for network systems supporting the 787 program, translating concepts and customer requirements into specific architectures and operational specifications, including physical integration of electrical systems and components. You will validate designs through laboratory and airplane testing, develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements, design software and interface specifications, and assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.

- Job Duties & Functions
- Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Designs software and interface specifications.
- Coordinates with customers on the development of software and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Solves problems concerning fielded software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Participates as a contributing member to airplane installation designs and certification efforts for Network Systems and Airplane Programs.
- Engages with airline customers to understand their intended use of Network Systems.
- Creates software scripts to support and/or automate testing procedures and analysis.
- Maintains configuration matrix for customer configurations and architectures.
- Works on engineering releases for airplane definition and options.
