Job Description
Performs inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of turbine engines, APUs, and related aircraft systems to support aircraft maintenance and airworthiness standards. This role interprets technical manuals, maintenance logs, and engineering documentation to troubleshoot discrepancies and perform required corrective actions. The technician conducts engine installations, removals, operational checks, and functional testing while ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft turbine engine line or shop maintenance, or equivalent experience
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- A minimum of 2 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft
- A minimum of 1 year of experience on Bombardier aircraft
- Proficiency in completing engine removals and replacements, borescopes, and written maintenance reports

- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform and document maintenance tasks in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, and regulations.
- Inspect engines, APUs, and related aircraft systems for damage, defects, corrosion, or wear to ensure airworthiness.
- Interpret maintenance discrepancies and logs to troubleshoot issues and determine required corrective actions.
- Recommend replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft engines and APUs based on inspection findings.
- Install, remove, or modify turbine engines, APUs, structures, systems, and components following engineering drawings and technical publications.
- Repair worn or defective components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Research and interpret technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, and repairs.
- Conduct engine and APU operational checks and functional testing.
- Inspect completed work to verify compliance with maintenance standards and readiness for service.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with aircraft maintenance tasks within the area of qualification.
- Operate and assist with ground support equipment, including ground power units, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.
- Assist with engine runs and off-aircraft component repair activities.
- Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
