Job Description
The Product Repair/Modification Technician assists with the disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and correct failures. This role performs validation and verification testing of components, fabricates and modifies aerospace products per specifications, and supports safe handling of aerospace vehicles under supervision. The technician follows work instructions, completes training requirements, and may work off shifts as needed to maintain production and quality standards. Tasks include basic system operations, component assembly, and adherence to safety and chemical handling protocols.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with tools and following work instructions
- Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start
- Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd)
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed

- Job Duties & Functions
- Assist with disassembly of system components to support correction of failures or implement changes.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications.
- Assist with tasks associated with the safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
- Work under supervision to ensure adherence to training, safety, and quality standards.
