Job Description
The Manufacturing Planner supports electrical and electronics production planning activities for the 737 program, focusing on electrical wiring and installationplanning that supports increasing production rates and certification activities. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, designengineers, and shop investigators, to resolve factory production issues and support corrective actions. The position manages installation plans, work instructions, andmanufacturing documentation across multiple planning systems to ensure accurate production execution.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate’s degree) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of related work experience, 5 years of related work experience, etc.).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Must be a U.S. person for purposes of export compliance.

- Preferred Skills
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. (Mid-Level)
- 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. (Senior Level)
- Experience with manufacturing engineering planning systemssuch as Product Data Manager (PDM), Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP),Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS), and Wire IntegrationRetrieval System (WIRS).
- Familiarity with aircraft production planning systems and processes.
- Experience supporting commercial aircraft programs such as the 737.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Process PARs within the Electrical Wiring Information Tracking System (EWITS).
- Perform producibility checks and release LCC type changes and Production Illustration Revision Records (PIRRs) when required.
- Create and revise Out-Of-Sequence Installation Plans (OSIPs) supporting engineering and planning releases.
- Update and revise installation plans within Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPPII).
- Update and revise installation plans within the Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES).
- Reallocate wire bundles and LMIs to support emergent requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of work instructions, bill of materials, and illustrations used by manufacturing.
- Coordinate and integrate with manufacturing engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and engineering teams.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related production issues.
