Support software configuration management and release activities by coordinating change control processes, managing software builds and releases, and maintaining configuration documentation. Responsibilities include supporting configuration planning, tracking and verification activities, facilitating Change Control Board processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate software releases and baseline management.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management practices.
    • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience editing PDF and Word files.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related technical field.
    • Experience with version control systems and build/release tooling such as Git or CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience in configuration management.
    • Experience leading or coordinating teams.
    • Process improvement experience and understanding of organizational processes.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Support and manage the Change Control Board process by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
    • Produce and maintain configuration management artifacts including configuration management plans, product identification schemes, baselines, and traceability records.
    • Prepare and process engineering and configuration change documentation including Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variance, and Change Requests.
    • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and support software build and release activities.
    • Manage version control repositories, build environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Perform configuration audits and verification activities to ensure product and documentation baselines are accurate.
    • Coordinate supplier change management and review configuration management requirements.
    • Support export authority determinations for technical work products and assist with quality audits.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align release schedules and configuration management activities.
    • Support continuous improvement of configuration management processes, tools, and metrics.
