Job Description

Lead engine maintenance activities, including inspection, repair, removal, and installation of turbine engines, APUs, and related aircraft systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, performing operational checks, and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company procedures.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
    • A minimum of 8 years of aircraft turbine engine line or shop maintenance experience or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working on corporate jet aircraft.
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience working on Bombardier aircraft.
    • Experience performing engine removals and installations, borescope inspections, and maintenance documentation.

    • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering documentation.

    • Ability to maintain high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
    • Preferred Skills
    • Experience performing engine operational checks and functional testing.
    • Experience operating ground support equipment.
    • Experience supporting off-aircraft component repair activities.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Inspect engines, APUs, and related aircraft systems and components for damage, defects, corrosion, or wear to ensure airworthiness.
    • Interpret maintenance logs and discrepancies to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions.
    • Perform removal, installation, and modification of turbine engines, APUs, and associated systems.
    • Repair worn or damaged components using appropriate tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
    • Conduct engine and APU operational checks and functional testing.
    • Research and interpret technical manuals, engineering orders, and maintenance documentation.
    • Inspect completed maintenance work to verify compliance with standards and procedures.
    • Assist technicians with general aircraft maintenance tasks and operation of ground support equipment.
    • Support engine runs and other operational testing activities.
    • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
