Experimental NC Programmer

Job Description

Provide N/C programs for the fabrication of machined parts by developing, testing, and revising machine programming for 3 to 5-axis machines. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints and job orders, selecting machine types and tooling requirements, supporting program development on machines, and collaborating with team members to ensure programming accuracy and timely completion of machining operations.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with CATIA V5 3-axis and 5-axis programming.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Preferred Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with CATIA V5 3-axis and 5-axis programming plus mill-turn programming experience.

• Job Duties & Functions
• Provide N/C programs for the fabrication of machined parts.
• Program for 3 to 5 axis machines using CATIA V5.
• Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications.
• Program, test, and revise machine programming as required.
• Select machine type, tooling requirements for work holding and part orientation, and cutting tool requirements.
• Provide on-machine support for program development.
• Perform other related duties as required.
