Job Description
Support the In-Service NDT team by authoring and revising Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures, developing Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) for calibration standards, and performing equipment setup to required specifications. Compose detailed procedure figures outlining inspection locations, geometry, probe placement, and signal response while reporting adverse trends or anomalous results. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring regular attendance, extensive aerospace in-service NDT experience, and the ability to travel and work variable shifts as needed.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree or education/experience typically acquired through advanced education and 20 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 20+ years of experience in NDI or NDT.
- A minimum of 20+ years of experience in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonic testing (UT) and/or eddy current testing (ET).
- Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Must be a U.S. person.
- Preferred Skills
- 25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
- 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD software.

- Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporate revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
- Develop Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standards.
- Perform setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
- Compose procedure figures providing inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response details.
- Report potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
