Job Description

The Production/Inventory Coordinator C is responsible for processing, moving, and managing production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and support areas to facilitate production, flight test, and product support activities. This role monitors work in process, updates part and material status using automated systems, identifies and reports inventory discrepancies, reconciles material issues, and coordinates with various functions to prioritize and expedite production activities. The coordinator operates material handling equipment, lifts, and transports materials safely, and works under limited supervision to maintain system accuracy and support schedule adherence.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate’s +2 years of related work, Bachelor’s, etc.).
    • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling.
    • Experience with computer systems and automated inventory tracking.
    • Crane or forklift certification/experience.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and support areas.
    • Monitor work in process and update part/material status using automated systems.
    • Identify and report inventory discrepancies and reconcile issues to maintain system accuracy.
    • Coordinate with production and support teams to prioritize, expedite, and complete activities to avoid schedule delays.
    • Lift and transport materials using cranes, forklifts, or manually as needed.
    • Deliver work orders and materials to work areas and perform material handling across shipping and receiving zones.
    • Follow all safety procedures, including NASA-required background check and badging post-start.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Requires standing and moving throughout the warehouse and production areas.
    • Ability to climb ladders up to 10 feet.
    • Ability to lift materials up to 25 pounds.
