Job Description
This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role. In this position, you will assemble, disassemble, modify, and repair aerospace vehicle systems by removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes. You will configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment, troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform validation and verification testing, and document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. You will inspect components for flight worthiness, support training activities, and work under general direction while maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

- Pay Rate: $41.91/hour
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
- A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- U.S. Person required for export compliance
- Secret security clearance required to start
- Preferred Skills
- A minimum of 1 year C-17 specific experience preferred
- Air Force experience preferred
- Structural maintenance experience preferred
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and complete all required training and qualification requirements in a timely manner to meet contractual, regulatory, and operational expectations

- Job Duties & Functions
- Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul tasks
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
- Document procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results to ensure compliance
- Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements
- Support training activities as required
- Work under general direction and maintain regular and predictable attendance

- Handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, twisting, standing, walking
