Support Analyst

Job Description

Support modeling, simulation, and systems engineering for government logistics and sustainment programs. Develop and implement processes and tools for model-based sustainment simulation, collect and validate input data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create modeling architecture, analysis packs, and test/debug models. Utilize workflow and visualization tools to support decision-making, provide logistics trade study feedback, track performance metrics, and assist with MBSS production releases. Maintain plans, schedules, and reporting under general supervision.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience, 9 years of related experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of Military CONOPs and logistics.
• Experience in product support roles.
• Experience communicating with DoD customers and internal programs.

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with DoD aircraft maintenance, sustainment, or logistics.
• Familiarity with modeling tools such as AFSIM, LSAS, OPUS, or SIMLOX.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

• Job Duties & Functions
• Collect model/analysis input data from relevant data sources and ensure data integrity.
• Partner with modelers and software developers to develop project-specific modeling architecture diagrams and analysis packs.
• Test and debug models to support project objectives.
• Utilize tools to automate and monitor data workflows and visualize scenarios for decision-making.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bridge gaps, align logistics with project timelines, and improve system readiness.
• Provide ILS trade study feedback by translating technical logistics details into actionable insights.
• Research military tactics and strategies to enhance model fidelity.
• Track performance metrics and customer requirements.
• Assist with MBSS production releases.
